JANESVILLE—Police arrested Randy A. Bluhm, 48, of 404 Kellogg Ave., Janesville, Wednesday afternoon on a charge of sixth-offense drunken driving.

An officer pulled over Bluhm's vehicle after it crossed the centerline, ran over a curb and almost struck a parked car, according to a press release.

The officer saw an open beer can in the console, and Bluhm admitted to drinking. He also admitted to smoking marijuana only minutes before, according to the release.

Bluhm failed a field sobriety test, and his driving record showed five operating while intoxicated convictions. A blood test result is pending. Bluhm was being held in the Rock County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

He also was cited for operating after revocation, having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and having no insurance.
