Rosella Mae Anderson, 85, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. She was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Michael and Caroline (Franklin) Weis. Rose married Maynard D. Anderson on Nov. 27, 1948, and has resided in Beloit, since then. Rose was a charter member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, a member and Past President of OLA Altar Society and formed the OLA Funeral Luncheon Committee. She served a term as Community Affairs Chairman of the Madison Council of Catholic Women and a term as Deanery CCW President and Director at Large. Rose was a member of the Beloit Intermediate Club, and a former member and President of the Beloit Sweet Adelines. Rose and her husband, Maynard, were co-owners of their Shaklee Products Business. She was formerly employed at Parker Pen Company, Janesville, WI, Beloit Corporation and Colt Industries.

Survivors include her husband, Maynard Anderson; children: Gregory (Sharon) Anderson, Paul (Patty Beth) Anderson, and Rose Marie (Jerry) Pulaski; grandchildren: Meredith (Michael) Chandra, Stefanie (Brandon) Arnold, Brooke (Clay) Hendershot, and Micah (fiancé Tiffany) Anderson; great-grandchildren: Owen Beckett, Finley Nicole, Reese Marin Arnold, and Olivia Marie Chandra; a sister, Bette (Neil) Welch; two sisters-in-law, Norma Weis and Ruth Weis; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandparents; parents; three sisters: Vernelia Ruesch, Mary Gregory and Eileen Shaw; three brothers: Donald Weis, Joseph Weis, and Jerome Weis; a niece, Carole (Gregory) Kelley; and a nephew, Jack Gregory.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI, with Fr. John Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.
