Janesville police seek public's help in finding stray dog that bit man Monday

JANESVILLE—Police are seeking the public's helping locating a stray dog that bit a 19-year-old Janesville man at about 2:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Racine Street and Park Avenue.

The man told police he was riding his bicycle near Fourth Ward Park when the dog attacked, knocking him from his bike and biting him on the arm, according to police reports.

The dog is a light tan pit bull with white coloring on its face and front paw with unclipped ears, according to a Janesville Police Department news release. The dog was not wearing a collar and was last seen running toward the 400 block of Johnson Street.
