Few arrested at Alpine Valley Kiss and Def Leppard concert
EAST TROY—Walworth County deputies made few arrests and issued a handful of citations at the Kiss and Def Leppard concert Friday at Alpine Valley, according to a Walworth County Sheriff's Office news release.
The sheriff's office drug unit and patrol division issued the following violations:
-- Five possession of marijuana.
-- One possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- Two underage alcohol possession.
-- Ten speeding.
-- Three no insurance.
One person was taken into protective custody because of alcohol consumption.
About 11,000 people attended the concert, the release states.
Jimmy Buffett will perform Saturday at Alpine Valley, W2699 County D. About 25,000 people are expected to attend.
