Midwest League: Clinton walks off against Beloit

Chih Fang Pan reached base five times but never scored a run Sunday as the Beloit Snappers lost 4-3 to the Clinton LumberKings on a walk-off single.

Beloit had a 2-0 lead going to the bottom of the fourth inning, but Clinton scored three times on a throwing error, a groundout with a runner at third base and an RBI single by Joseph DeCarlo, who had three hits and scored the game-winning run.

Catcher Josh Ludy hit his first homer of the summer for the Snappers in the top of the fourth. Beloit plays at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Peoria.
