QUEBRADO, 23, of Waukegan, Ill., at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday at the Lake County, Illinois, Jail, transported to the Rock County Jail, on a Wisconsin State Patrol bench warrant for failing to appear in court on previous charges of operating a motor vehicle without owner consent, operating while intoxicated/causing injury and fleeing an officer.
— A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY, at 3 a.m. Friday at Smokers World, 1822 W. Court St., Janesville, referred to juvenile authorities on charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property after police responded to a motion alarm at the store at 5:36 a.m. Thursday. The same boy was again referred to juvenile authorities at 3:57 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Washington Street, Janesville, on charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of tobacco by a child and a curfew violation.
Intoxicated driving arrests
— DANIEL A. SCHULTZ, 39, 4363 Fox Hills Drive, Janesville, at 3:21 a.m. Thursday at Holiday and Pontiac drives, Janesville.
— BRACELET TROUBLE, at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday, when a woman inmate monitored by ankle bracelet through the jail’s Electronic Monitoring Diversion Program was returned to the jail after her Janesville landlord called the sheriff’s office. The woman later told a deputy that the landlord had made unwelcome sexual advances. The incident was still being investigated Friday.
— BURGLARY, reported at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday on South Henke Road east of Janesville. Scrap metal items valued at $658, including one item from a shed, were taken.
— BURGLARY reported at 4:20 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Burbank Avenue, Janesville. A bicycle was taken from a garage.
— CAR THEFT, reported at 8:49 a.m. Friday in the 2200 block of East Rugby Road, Janesville. Taken was a 2013 Kia Soul valued at $18,000, which had been parked on the street.
