Sheridan plans Election Day visits to district communities
JANESVILLE—Mike Sheridan invites the public to join him Tuesday during a “whistle stop tour” of cities and villages in the 15th Senate District.
Tuesday is Election Day, and Sheridan is running against Janis Ringhand and Austin Scieszinski in a Democratic primary for the Senate seat now held by Tim Cullen.
“We want to roll through all the unique communities of the 15th Senate District to encourage everyone to get out and vote in this important primary,” Sheridan said. “We want to reconnect on that day with the thousands of voters we've met while knocking on doors since our campaign began two month ago.”
The caravan will include supporters on motorcycles and in vintage autos, trucks, cars and vans. The campaign welcomes residents to join this caravan.
The caravan will begin Tuesday morning at Wedge Inn East on Janesville's east side and proceed east to Whitewater. From Whitewater the caravan will travel to Milton, Edgerton, Oregon and Evansville. From there the caravan will travel to Brodhead and Orfordville before heading to Beloit and back to Janesville.
Sheridan will be at the East Point Sportz Pub, 3443 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville, to watch the election results.
