Fourth drunken driving suspected

JANESVILLE—A Tennessee man was being held at the Rock County Jail after being arrested on a charge of fourth-offense drunken driving Saturday night.

According to a Rock County Sheriff's Office news release, deputies stopped the vehicle Spencer Petitt was driving for speeding at 7:28 p.m. Saturday in the area of County G and Townline Road. After the deputy detected an odor of intoxicants on Petitt's breath, he conducted field sobriety tests on Petitt, who failed them.

Petitt, 40, of Brighton, Tennessee, was arrested on the OWI charge and issued citations for operating after revocation and speeding.
