Quad Cities rode a 6-0 lead after two innings to a 6-1 victory over the visiting Beloit Snappers on Saturday night.

James Ramsay drove in four runs with a grand slam in the second, and Chase McDonald added two RBI with a two-run shot in the first in the victory.

Junior Mendez allowed all six runs in 4 2/3 innings and fell to 2-7.

Beloit reliever Joel Seddon struck out the side in the eighth.

B.J. Boyd and Tyler Marincov each had two hits to lead Beloit’s seven hit attack.

The teams complete their series with 5 p.m. game today.
