Your Views: Mike Sheridan running out of love of service
It was an honor and privilege to serve in the Legislature for six years. There hasn’t been a day that has gone by in the last four years that I haven’t thought about my service in Madison. I am proud of the work and the record of achievement while serving in the Legislature. I entered the Senate race just three months ago but have enjoyed every minute of it. Meeting new people and reconnecting with people that I have met through the years has been very rewarding. Thank you for your kindness.
We have all had times in our lives when we can reflect back and wish we would’ve handled something better. The important thing is that we learn. The life lessons I have learned will make me a better senator and a better human being.
The reason I am running is that I love serving people. I have a proven record and the skills to get things done for our citizens. My ability to work with diverse groups of people will be a tremendous asset as your next senator. My promise to you is I will work hard every day to make your lives better. It is my mission to make sure that every citizen in the 15th Senate District has the same opportunities that I have been given.
I would be honored to serve you and would appreciate your vote Aug. 12.
