State Rep. Amy Loudenbeck, R-Clinton, was among a bipartisan group of 21 Wisocnsin legislators to receive the 2014 Building Wisconsin award from Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.

The legislators were recognized for their work on behalf of the construction industry, specifically for their sponsorship and support of commercial building code legislation. The legislation, signed in law in April, "will simplify and streamline regulations for architects, builders and new developers," according to a news release from ABC-Wisconsin.

Loudenbeck represents the 31st District, which includes portions of Walworth and Rock counties.
