EDGERTON—Two men were shot in what police are calling an armed robbery Wednesday night at 2 Brothers Bar in Edgerton.

Three armed subjects entered the bar at 116 W. Fulton St. about 11:50 p.m. and demanded money, according to a press release from Edgerton Police Chief Tom Klubertanz.

A struggle with patrons ensued, and two people were shot.

A 28-year-old Janesville man and a 42-year-old Cross Plains man were treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center.

Klubertanz said the robbers fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Two "subjects of interest" were interviewed and later released, he said.

Klubertanz declined to release a description of the robbers or other details.

Deputies and detectives from the Rock County Sheriff's Office assisted, and the incident is still under investigation.
