JANESVILLE—Slow/no wake restrictions have been lifted for the entire Rock River, according to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

At the US Geological Survey gauge on Lake Koshkonong the water level has reached 7.92 feet. The gauge on the Rock River in Afton has reached 6.42 feet.

County ordinances allow for the removal of the slow/no wake speed restriction when water levels reach or fall below 8.0 feet on Lake Koshkonong and 6.5 feet at Afton, the news release said.

The slow/no wake signs will be removed as soon as possible.
