Martin Paul Pranke, age 41, of Janesville, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Janesville. He was born in Two Rivers, WI, on March 29, 1973, the son of Pauline F. (Wheeler) Pranke. Martin married Ann M. Brooks on July 26, 1997, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He was employed as both a diesel mechanic as well as a truck driver.
Martin is survived by his wife, Ann; his mother, Pauline Pranke of Whitewater; three siblings: Omar (Molly) Pranke of Kansas City, MO, Mary Pranke of Clinton, IA, and Mark Pranke of New Mexico; his mother and father-in-law, Mary and Pat Brooks of Whitewater; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Brent) Steinke of Whitewater; his nieces and nephews: Ashley, Courtney, Jimmy, Ethan, Amanda, Ellan, Colton, and Connor; as well as his special “brothers”: Troy, Carl F., Jeremy, Carl S., James, and Cliff.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY, Janesville. Rev. Tom Zillman will preside. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
