Madison man convicted of fourth OWI
ELKHORN—A Madison man was found guilty of his fourth drunken driving offense after driving to the Walworth County Judicial Center in March.
Darnell L. Mansfield, 29, Madison, pleaded guilty July 10 after being arrested March 28. He drunkenly drove to the courthouse and parked in a spot reserved for courthouse staff, according to the criminal complaint.
While at the courthouse, it was found that Mansfield had a warrant out for his arrest through the town of Delavan and his bond restrictions did not allow him to drive.
He was arrested and taken to the Walworth County Jail, where he submitted a blood sample to test for blood alcohol content, the complaint sates.
Mansfield's prior offenses were in June and December of 2010 and November 2013, the complaint reads.
