BELOIT—Lou Trivino and Sam Bragg combined for a two-hit shutout, Tyler Marincov had a pair of doubles and two RBI and the Beloit Snappers beat the Bowling Green Hot Rods 4-0 on Sunday.

Bowling Green had just five baserunners all game, and none advanced beyond second base. The Hot Rods' best scoring opportunity came in the fourth after a ground-ball single up the middle and a walk put runners on first and second with two outs. Trivino induced a ground ball to third base to end the inning.

Marincov's first double of the game came in the first inning to give Ryan Mathews runners on second and third with one out. Mathews grounded out to shortstop to score the run.

The Beloit right fielder drove in his first run with a sacrifice fly in the third and added his second with a double in the bottom of the fifth. Marincov's performance came after a three-hit, two-RBI game Saturday night.

B.A. Vollmuth added a solo home run—his second in as many games—in the eighth inning to make it 4-0. Sam Bragg pitched two perfect innings to earn the save.

Beloit and Bowling Green play the third game of the series at noon today.
