— ROBERT B. BRIGGS, 43, 314 McKinley St., Janesville, at 10:14 a.m. Monday at South High and West Holmes streets, Janesville, for strangulation/suffocation and physical abuse of a child. He is suspected of being involved in an altercation that caused injury to a 15-year-old girl he knows. Police reported the girl was taken to Mercy Hospital, Janesville, for treatment of an undisclosed injury.
— THEFT at 3:12 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Main Street, Janesville. A woman reported someone broke into her car and stole a CD player and a remote control valued at $200.
— BURGLARY at 4:23 p.m. Thursday to a residence in the 400 block of Pearl Street, Janesville. A woman told police she believes a relative broke into her mother's home and stole a Maytag air conditioner, a set of computer speakers, tools, a Christmas ornament, a mirror, a dolphin light and a fan, all worth a total of $825.
— STACY L. DATI, 36, of Kansasville, with felony identity theft. Elkhorn police say on May 28, Dati stole a check, and wrote out the check to herself and cashed it.
— KEITH E. FEENEY, 26, of 118 E. Walworth Ave., Apt. E, Delavan, with felony distribution of hazardous waste. Walworth County deputies say on April 4, Feeney sold MJ Primo, a controlled substance, to a Smoke Shop customer.
— JORDAN W. ROMANELLI, 26, of 516 E. Walworth Ave, No. 2, Delavan, with felony physical abuse of a child. Delavan police say on June 27, hit a child several times and caused bruising to the child's body.
— BRAXTON C. SMITH, 21, of Harvard, Illinois, with felony party to burglary of a home. Walworth County deputies say on Feb. 20, Smith pawned several items stolen from a town of Sharon home.
