--THEFT of more than $2,000 reported at 8:11 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Ruger Avenue, Janesville. The victim told police he suspects his son is responsible.
--BURGLARY, reported at 9:44 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Harmony Drive, Janesville. Cash and a necklace were reported stolen.
--BURGLARY, reported at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Morningside Drive, Janesville. Suspects entered the victim's residence Sunday and Tuesday, according to the report. Items were reported stolen but not listed on the police report.
--XAVIER S. CORNELLIER, 18, of 105 Dearborn St., Beloit, charged with burglary and first-degree recklessly endangering safety in connection with an incident at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at 705 Shu-Lar Lane, town of Clinton. Cornellier is accused of entering the residence of a man he knows and being chased out by the resident when the resident came home. Cornellier and another man who was with him jumped into Cornellier's car, and the resident smashed the car's window with a baseball bat, according to the criminal complaint. Cornellier then drove into the resident, knocking him onto the car's hood, backed up, causing the resident to fall to the ground and then drove over the resident's leg twice, causing bruising, according to the complaint.
