Brandon Quinn pleads not guilty to child-abuse charges
JANESVILLE—A Janesville man accused of assaulting two young children he knew on July 1 pleaded not guilty to the charges Wednesday in Rock County Court.
Brandon L. Quinn, 23, 1306 N. Washington St. No. 1, is accused of assaulting a 7-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl with his hands, a hammer a spoon and a spatula at the apartment where he lived.
Both children bled and lost consciousness during the assaults, according to a criminal complaint.
Quinn now faces two new misdemeanor domestic abuse charges, battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an altercation with a woman he knows at his address June 11.
Quinn pleaded not guilty to the new charges.
Quinn remains at the Rock County Jail on Friday on a $20,000 cash bond.
