A chance for aspiring entrepreneurs to make a pitch for their business idea on ABC's “Shark Tank” is as close as a trip to Milwaukee next week.

The show, which features entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to a panel of possible investors, is hosting open casting calls around the country, including one on Monday, July 21, at the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee.

Numbered wristbands are distributed from 9 to 11 a.m., and interviews begin at 10 a.m. Only the first 500 applicants are guaranteed to be seen, and the ABC website encourages people to arrive early.

Entrepreneurs will get one minute to pitch their business, product or idea to a member of the casting team.

According to the ABC website, the casting team “is looking for entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds.”

Applicants are required to bring along a completed application packet to the open call. Download the forms HERE.
