Milton Raptors maintain second place

MADISON—The Milton Junction Pub Raptors remained in second place in the South Division of the Rock River League with an 8-2 win over the Madison Rockers on Saturday.

Milton (10-2), which is one game behind Neosho, got a complete-game performance from Jeff Jacobson. The right-hander allowed only four hits and struck out six.

Dave Sagaitis and Andy Haney each had two-run singles as part of a six-run first inning for the Raptors.

Josh Shere had three hits, including two double for Milton.

The Raptors play at Johnson Creek today.
