Patriotic Society seeks help removing flags

JANESVILLE-The Janesville Patriotic Society seeks the public's help for about an hour starting at 8 a.m. Saturday to remove small American flags from graves at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Those interested in helping should come to the cemetery, 1827 N. Washington St.

The Patriotic Society is an umbrella organization for the American Legion Post 205 and its auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6 and its auxiliary, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 376, Gold Star Mothers, Military Order of the Purple Heart 437 and its auxiliary, 32nd Red Arrow Club, Southern Wisconsin ExPrisoners of War, Tank Company Auxiliary, VFW Post 1621 and its auxiliary, Veterans of WWI Barracks 2314 and its auxiliary, Marine Corps League and Vietnam Veterans of America and Associates, Rock River Chapter 236.
