Peggy L. Schoville-Allen, Beloit, WI (1940-2014)

Peggy L. Schoville-Allen 74, of Beloit, WI, died Monday July 7, 2014, in her home. She was born on Jan. 28, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Q.A. and Olive Wanda Robinson Catron. Peggy married Kenneth Schoville on Sept. 8, 1962. He died on Feb. 24, 1993. She later married Jimmy D. Allen on May 11, 1996. Peggy was employed by Wisconsin Power and Light (Alliant Energy), First American Credit Union (Advia C.U.) and Domenico's. She was an advisor for the Order of the Rainbow for Girls and a volunteer at Burdge and Hackett schools, Second Harvest and was a Foster Parent with the Foster Parenting Program of Rock County, Wisconsin. She was a member of First Congregational Church, a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Phoenix Chapter #215, Beloit, and was the Grand Marshal for the State of WI.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughter, Bonnie (Todd) Preuschl of Beloit, WI; and her son, James (Kristen) Schoville of Cobb, WI; four step-children: Tina (Chris Edwards) Allen of Elkhart, IN, Dennis (Brenda) Allen of Beloit, WI, Holly Allen of Elkhart, IN, and David (Candy) Allen of Sycamore, IL; eight grandchildren: Rachel Preuschl, Karen Schoville, Kenneth Schoville, Stacy (Tim) Farley, Ethan Summers, Ross Alexander, Nina Allen and Rebecca Allen; a brother, Richard (Crystal) Catron of LaGrange Park, IL; two nieces, Jennifer (Pete Mandel) Rutkoski of Joliet, IL, and Michelle Catron of LaGrange Park, IL; and two great nieces, Samantha and Makayla Rutkoski of Joliet, IL; 17 foster children; and many special friends. She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Kenneth Schoville; and grandson, Jared Preuschl.
A Celebration of Peggy's Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at the FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 801 Bushnell, Beloit, with the Reverend N. Kendall Nordstrom officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI, from 4 until 8 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 8 p.m. and, also, from 12 Noon until time of service Friday at the CHURCH. Memorials may be given in Peggy's name to the Order of Eastern Star, World of Youth Scholarship Perpetual Fund.
