Rock County siren test postponed until Wednesday
JANESVILLE—The monthly tornado siren test scheduled for last Wednesday was postponed to this Wednesday because of last week's severe weather.
The Rock County outdoor warning siren system test will be at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.
The test will last one to two minutes. Sirens will sound three to five minutes in the event of a tornado.
If residents notice sirens not working, they should contact the Rock County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management Bureau at 608-758-8440.
