Pamela Sue Perkins, age 65, of Janesville, passed away Tuesday morning, July 1, 2014, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1949, in Edgerton, WI, and was the daughter of the late Rolland and Marjorie (Henry) Mahlum. She attended schools in the Orfordville area, and was a graduate of Orfordville Parkview High School, Class of 1967. On June 14, 1969, she married Steven C. Perkins at Luther Valley Church. Pam worked in many capacities, but will be remembered as the manager of the Blooming of Beloit Plant Farm. She was an avid sports fan, and had played volleyball and softball in her younger days. She was a tremendous singer, and was a member of the choir at Luther Valley. She was a whiz at games and puzzles, and loved word games of all kinds! Her family was her pride and joy, and she especially loved time with her children and grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her husband, Steve; her four children: Eric S. (Wendy) Perkins, Bradley E. Perkins, Nicole M. Perkins, and Sara E. Rodriguez-Perkins; her seven beloved grandchildren: Matthew R. Perkins, Amy L. Perkins, Alex L. Perkins, Norma N. Rodriguez-Perkins, Tommy M. Rodriguez-Perkins, Andrew A. Rodriguez-Perkins, and Garret Perkins; her sister, Bette Richstad of Virginia; her in-laws: Rosemary (Raymon) Blabaum, John Michael Perkins, Bill (Sheila) Perkins, and Ruth (Dave) Nordeng; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Jean and Ed Vepraskas; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Karen Perkins; and her sister-in-law, Cora Perkins.

A Memorial Visitation and Celebration of Pam's Life will take place from 10 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, with a time of sharing beginning at 12:30 P.M. A reception and light luncheon will take place immediately following the sharing time in the Social Facilities of the FUNERAL HOME.
