Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JOHN D. COLEMAN, 22, of 1993 S. Prairie Ave., Beloit, at 1:32 a.m. Sunday at East County J and South County J, Beloit.

-- JASON A. HAGEL, 35, of 11436 N. Dondor Ave., Edgerton, at 2:19 a.m. Sunday at 915 E. Prairieview Drive, Edgerton. It is listed as his third drunken-driving arrest.


-- BURGLARY to an apartment in the 100 block of High Street, Janesville, reported at 6 p.m. Friday. Jewelry, electronics and frozen meats were reported stolen.

Injury accidents

-- HIGHWAY 14 EAST OF WILDER ROAD, TOWN OF PORTER, at 8:44 a.m. June 23. A vehicle driven by Teresa M. Bowman, 54, of 562 Abey Drive, Evansville, was westbound when a deer ran into the road and struck the vehicle. Bowman was treated at an area hospital.

-- COUNTY J AND SMITH ROAD, TOWN OF TURTLE, at 7:07 p.m. Sunday. An eastbound truck driven by Veronica B. Fannan, 17, no fixed address, failed to negotiate a curve and struck a westbound vehicle driven by Alicia J. Carlson, 26, of 425 Wagner Drive, Clinton. Fannan, Carlson and a passenger in Carlson's vehicle, Ariana N. Carlson, 9, same address, were treated at Beloit Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Fannan was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated causing injury, operating without a valid license, operating while suspended and failure to drive on the right side of the road.


-- STRUCTURE FIRE at CHS Transportation, 524 Highway 73, town of Albion, at 7:05 p.m. Monday. A fire started in the engine compartment of a Freightliner semi-tractor parked inside the business for routine maintenance. The semi-tractor is valued at about $110,000 and ruled a complete loss. The building suffered extensive smoke damage and electrical system damage, for a total of $500,000 property damage, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.



-- CHRISTOPHER L. ERICKSON, 39, 7301 Hollow Drive, Lake Geneva, with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanors distortedly conduct and battery. Walworth County deputies say on June 20, 2014, Erickson hit a woman and held her down on the ground.

-- JACOB T. HETZ, 19, 1271 Wisconsin St., No. 3, Lake Geneva, with felony fleeing an officer. Lake Geneva police say on June 19, 2014, Hetz fled officers on his motorcycle when police were attempting to pull him over.

-- ANDRE JACKSON, 46, Grayslake, Ill., with felony identity theft. Village of East Troy police say on March 1, 2013, Jackson cashed a fraudulent check worth $286.53.

-- SEAN J. MUELLER, 20, 602 Parkwood Lane, Jefferson, with felony party to burglary of a building. Whitewater police say on April 7, 2013, Mueller pawned items his friends stolen from a house in the 300 block of East North Street, Whitewater.

-- ANGIE D. ORTIZ, 21, N6656 Maple Road, Elkhorn, with 10 counts of felony identity theft. Walworth County deputies say from Nov. 10, 2013 to Nov. 14, 2013, Ortiz used another person's credit card to make purchases and cash withdrawals totaling about $1,268.
