TOWN OF CENTER—First responders called for a helicopter and extra ambulances for an accident with an overturned vehicle on Highway 14 west of Janesville on Sunday night.

The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. and blocked the highway in both directions near the intersection at Fox Road, according to a Department of Transportation notice. The blockage was expected to last two hours.

Details were not immediately available, but scanner transmissions indicated at least two patients in critical condition and the possibility that one or more persons had been thrown from the vehicle. Authorities on scene also called for air transport and requested equipment to do extrications.
