Jean Marie Guidone Wyse, age 63, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, at her home in Evansville, WI. She was born in Crystal Falls, MI, on Dec. 26th, 1950, the daughter of Liberato Giuseppe and Patricia Ann (Robarge) Guidone. She attended Forest Park High School in Crystal Falls, graduating in the class of 1968. She attended college at Bay de Noc College in Upper Michigan and moved to Madison, WI, in 1969. Jean married Anthony Wyse on Oct. 13, 1973, at the United Methodist Church in Evansville, WI. She worked as an Information Operator at Wisconsin Bell for 16 years. In 1994, she founded her own business, Guidone & Company Antiques. In 2008, she helped found Windmill Antiques, acting first as General Manager and, then, Owner in 2009. Jean was an accomplished and Nationally recognized artist and antiques dealer.

In addition to Jean’s success as an artist and business owner, she was very active in the community. She was a charter member of the Evansville Community Partnership and was instrumental in the creation of the Harvest Festival windmill auction and the downtown Evansville flower baskets and community flags. She was a Girl Scout troop leader and taught Sunday school at Evansville Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling the country to attend estate sales, auctions, flea markets and folk art festivals. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her children and grandson, and many will miss her dearly.

Jean is survived by her husband of 41 years, Anthony Wyse; their children, Heather Wyse of New York, NY, and Cale (Caitlin) Wyse; and grandson, Bentley, all of Grafton, WI; two brothers, Marc (Jeanie) Guidone, and Paul Guidone; two sisters, Renee (Steve) Erickson and Darice Guidone; her mother-in-law, Angela Wyse; two brothers-in-law, Andrew Wyse and Steve (Debbie) Wyse; her sister-in-law, Gina Wyse; nephews; nieces; cousins; grand nieces and nephews; extended family and her many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 2nd, 2014, from 4 until 6 p.m. at CREEKSIDE PLACE in Evansville, WI. Burial Service will take place on July 5th at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls, MI.

The family would like to thank Mercy Hospital Oncology Clinic and Mercy Hospice for the exceptional care.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or gifts, a donation be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund so that those who are living with breast cancer can become survivors and our vision of living in a world without breast cancer can finally become a reality.
