UPDATE: Tornado warning downgraded for Rock County

The National Weather Service has downgraded a tornado warning for western Rock County and eastern Green County, until 3:30 p.m. 

A storm capable of producing a tornado was traveling to the southeast. It was expected to be at Orfordville by 3:15 p.m., the weather service warned.

Residents were being advised to take cover as the storm continues to track south through the county.

West parts of the county, including Brodhead, Orfordville and Evansville were placed under the weather warning, amid reports of a potential brief tornado that touched down for about one minute north of Albany.
