ELKHORN--Printess M. Pritchard, of Beloit, died June 22 of injuries he suffered in a June 9 head-on two-car accident in Darien, according to a news release from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.

According to an earlier accident investigation report, at about 12:11 p.m. on June 9 Pritchard, 59, had been driving westbound on Wisconsin Highway 14, when his 1994 Cadillac Deville was struck by a 2008 Chevy Aveo, travelling eastbound on Highway 14, just south of County Highway C in the town of Darien. The Aveo, driven by Robert J. Lehr, 63, of Wonder Lake, Illinois, crossed the center line and hit the Cadillac head-on in the westbound lane.

Lehr sustained injuries as a result of this crash, but are not life-threatening, according to the release.

Both men were wearing seat belts.

This crash is an open, ongoing investigation at this time.
