Lois E. Schwartz, 91, of Milton, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born in Magnolia Township, to the late Walter A. and Florence E. (Poynter) Gransee. Lois attended Janesville High School and graduated in 1940. After High School, she worked at the Apollo Movie Theatre and eventually as the Secretary for the Drafting Department at Parker Pen. On Sept. 21, 1946, Lois would marry Roger August Schwartz in Janesville. She loved to crochet afghan blankets, go to the library and read, and was proud of her children and grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her sons: Larry Schwartz of Oelwein, IA, Lee (Christine) Schwartz of Janesville, David (Peg) Schwartz of Janesville; three grandchildren: Joel, Kimberly, Ericka; three step-grandchildren: Katie, Jacob, Alexa; daughter-in-law, Chris (Jerry) Johnson of Janesville; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger Schwartz; sons, William and Baby Dale Schwartz; siblings: Dorothy Hopkins, Bob, Raymond, Perry, and Stuart Gransee.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014, at the MILTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. Visitation will be held on Monday at the CHURCH from 11 a.m. until the start of the service. ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON are assisting the family with arrangements.
