2014 MDA Tub Run raises more than $125,000
Last week, Kutter Harley-Davidson and Muscular Dystrophy Association raised more than $125,000 during the 2014 MDA Tub Run, helping the event surpass $2 million in total collections since its inception.
The MDA Tub Run took place June 13-14 with more than 1,500 riders taking part.
In its first year, the event raised $12,000. Since 2003, the event has collected more than $100,000 each year.
The 90-mile trek is the third largest ride in the nation. Starting at Kutter Harley-Davidson in Janesville and ending at Thresherman's Park near Edgerton, the event also included a poker run, live music, BBQ, camping, bike games, a silent auction, and a steak dinner.
In recognition of 20 years and breaking the $2 million mark, MDA National Goodwill Ambassador Regan Imhoff attended the event with her family.
All proceeds from the event will help local families served by the MDA in Southwestern Wisconsin.
