Citizen applications sought for WalCoMet

ELKHORN--The Walworth County Board is seeking applications for one citizen appointment to a position on the Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District Commission.  WalCoMet operates a wastewater treatment system and equipment, and remote lift stations serving jurisdictions in Walworth County.  WalCoMet commissioners oversee the sewerage district's operations and make recommendations concerning system management and WalCoMet operations.  Applicants must reside in the Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District service area.  Appointments to the WalCoMet Commission are for a five-year term of service.

“Notice of Interest” citizen applications are available upon request from the County Administrator's Office, P.O. Box 1001, Room 112 Government Center, 100 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, Wisconsin 53121.  An application may also be obtained by email request to Dave Bretl, County Administrator, dbretl@co.walworth.wi.us .  The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27.  Applications should be submitted to the Walworth County Administrator, Post Office Box 1001/Room 112 Government Center, Elkhorn, Wisconsin 53121.
