Sex offender to be released in Rock County

TOWN OF ROCK—A man convicted on sexual assault charges in 1998 will be released to Rock Valley Community Programs, 203 W. Sunny Lane, town of Rock, on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Community Corrections.

Richard L. Denson, 32, was convicted of attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of third-degree sexual assault in 1998, according to a Rock County Sheriff's Office news release.

While at Rock Valley Community Programs, Denson will not be allowed to participate in community activities without approval of the Department of Corrections; no contact with minors; no patronizing taverns, bars or liquor stores; no contact with victims; not to consume alcohol or drugs; to comply with standard sex-offender rules; and to cooperate with GPS monitoring.
