Kyle R. Gronert, 52 years old, of Antioch, IL, formerly of Janesville, WI, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was born Feb. 13, 1962, in Elkhart, IN, the son of Richard and Elaine (Grining) Gronert, living in Janesville, WI, for many years, later in Chicago, IL, and Kildeer, IL, before settling in Antioch, in 2009. Kyle had graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a degree in Advertising, and has owned and operated Big Ad Agency for many years, working recently with the Antioch Chamber, PM&L Theatre, and many local churches. Kyle had played and later coached hockey at Craig High School, Janesville, WI, played for the UW-Madison team, and coached the DePaul Hockey Club. He was a member of Northbridge Church, Antioch, Wakefield Heritage Association, Co-Organizer of the AVP league, Chicago, and enjoyed: sailing, golf, photography, and antiquing. On June 14, 2008, he married Sherylyn Tell in Long Grove, IL.

Survivors include: his wife Sheri; two step-children, Jessica (Steve) Hansen of Milwaukee, WI, and Jeremy (Shannon) Huntington of McHenry, IL; four grandchildren: Janessa and Joseph Hansen and Makayla and Mason Huntington; his parents, Dick and Elaine Gronert of Delevan, WI; siblings, Kris (Elizabeth) Gronert of Palatine, IL, and Karyn (John) Karcher of Elkhorn, WI; nieces and nephews: Jenny and Ethan Karcher and Jameson, Jodie, and Seth Gronert; and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, at the CHAIN OF LAKES COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH, 43 W. Grass Lake Rd., Lake Villa, IL, 60046. Interment will follow in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, WI. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the CHURCH.
