Janesville police seek dog that bit man

JANESVILLE—Janesville police are looking for a dog that bit a man near Main and Racine streets at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim told police he tried to pet a stray dog, which bit him in the hand and ran away.

The dog is described as a German shepherd type, mostly black but with some brown, weighing 70-80 pounds. It was wearing a blue nylon collar with blue tag attached.
